Dixie Chapter - George Bugg Collection Meet

Initially the collection comprised mostly Fords, but in later years George acquired several Hudsons and other interesting cars, as well as a unique assortment of car models and other memorabilia. There is always something interesting to drool over when we have the privilege of being invited to see the collection.
February weather is unpredictable, but we will hope for a nice day when we can get our Hudsons out and bring them to the meet. We will look forward to seeing you any time after 10:30 AM at: 131 Newton Bridge Industrial Way, Athens, GA 30607.

Please plan to bring your own lunch, and take all currently normal health-related precautions. Please don’t come if you are sick! We will eat our lunches at tables in the building, and then president Tony Citro will hold a brief business meeting to discuss future meets and some other items of chapter business.
Directions (these directions assume you are approaching Athens from the west-if you are coming from another di-rection find your way to the GA-10 Loop around Athens and go to EXIT 13 on the north side, then follow directions below from that point):
From Atlanta, take I-85 N to GA-316E.
Approximately 60 miles from Atlanta, take the ramp right for GA-10/US-78 towards Athens & Monroe and turn left at the top of the ramp. (If you miss this turn continue ahead to GA-10-LOOP and take it NORTH to EXIT 13)
Go 1.4 miles, turn right onto GA-10/US– BR/GA-8 (Waffle House on the corner)
Go 2.2 miles, take ramp on right for GA-10-LOOP towards Elberton /Hartwell.
Go on GA-10-LOOP for approx. 4.7 miles to EXIT 13—take ramp and follow signs for Chase Street, then turn left onto North Chase St. Go 0.3 miles, then turn left onto Newton Bridge Road.
Go 1.7 miles, then turn right onto Newton Bridge Industrial Way. (Estes Truck Co. is on the left.) 131 is the second property on the left.
